Notice of Intent to Deny (NOID)
USCIS issues a NOID when it believes that there is adverse information regarding the applicant’s case and a denial is warranted. NOIDS can be complex and should be taken very seriously. Failure to timely respond or completely respond can lead to the denial of a case.
How many days do I have to respond to a NOID?
Should I hire a lawyer?
This decision is entirely the potential client’s. Has the attorney handled a similar NOID before? Have they had success with responding to NOID’s? Does the attorney have a strategy to address the NOID? These are some of the questions one should ask before making a decision on whether to hire and whom to hire to assist with responding to their RFE or NOID.
